Variegated Green provides comprehensive landscape design packages for modern residential gardens. Through an in-depth design process, the full potential of a site is identified and a dialogue is created between a home’s indoor and outdoor spaces.

The process includes a deep dive into the needs and wants of my clients and the specific properties of the site. Every design is a unique solution achieved by listening closely to my clients.

I help homeowners clarify their overall landscape vision and then create a simple, functional and modern layout that meets the goals of the project (it’s my super power).

PROCESS

• Design Questionnaire + Initial Consultation :: Potential clients respond to thoughtful questions regarding scope, plant and color preferences, goals and budget prior to an on-site meeting to review the design document and observe the site specifics.

• Preliminary Plan Options + Review :: Two to three preliminary plans and plant palettes are developed based on the client goals and site considerations to be reviewed on-site.

• Final Plan + Plant Palette :: A revised plan, plant palette and landscape lighting package is prepared based on client feedback.

• Bid Documents :: A final drafted design package including a layout and materials plan, plant plan and schedule, details and elevations is completed for pricing and construction by a landscape contractor.

• Construction Observation :: I work with several highly-skilled contractors and will work with you to find the best contractor suited to your project. I meet on-site with both the contractor and you to answer questions and ensure the best outcome for the project.
